What Differences Exist Between Keyword Search Volumes and Google Trends Data?

The absence of keyword search volume data sets Google Trends apart from other keyword research tools.
On a scale from 0 to 100, it displays the percentage of search queries that were made.

Keyword volumes are displayed by third-party paid SEO tools, but they are merely approximations.

Third-party reporting tools typically buy data from other suppliers and use it to produce statistical estimates. The majority of data providers are software firms that get user-provided anonymous search data.

The most accurate keyword search data is found in Google Trends, which is derived from a sample of Google’s real search data. Because the actual volume of data is in the billions and too large to process, Google Trends uses sampling.

  • No search operators
